I'm not really one to go public with drama but this one I felt I had to because I want to show the other side to a team that everyone thinks is honest and respectable.
I have been working for about a year with a Thai model, devolving a solo site for her. At this point there have been countless hours and a lot of money put into this project, and while technically I could open the site now, it is in a line of sites to be opened and would be opened according to our production schedule. This model is a one of a kind, STUNNING model. A serious money maker. Her domain was registered on 12-03-2005, we started production in Jan 2006 with a plan to open late spring of 2007. Being that we were getting closer to the launch, we have been building her profile on various networking sites such as MySpace and others since the beginning of this year.
Back up to several months ago, I was out having a drink with Marty & Mark from IslandDollars.com when we ran into the model I was working with. Knowing that they were in the same business as I was, I let them know right away that I was already working with her to develop a site and that was my project. They both agreed it was a winner and we discussed some ideas about it, and then moved onto another subject and it never came up again, until last night.
Marty sent an ICQ to me last night to inform me that he "wants to avoid conflicts and work out the best arrangement between us" and that he had been working with my model behind my back AND paid for her boob job because he thought "This concept is a great one, which is one that we felt we could do better than anyone else."
At first I thought he was joking with me because I really didn't think anyone would be that big of a cock sucker, but I was quick to learn he was very serious. I was then instantly insulted at the fact that he would tell me he though he could do it better than anyone else, and that he did this knowing in full what my intentions were with her. The same for Mark, his partner.
Marty is a smooth talker and tried to spin the fact that he fucked me over into a situation where ?we? could ?make a positive" out it, and said that there were many ways this could go and that "he would leave the door open" but his only real solution was from him to buy my content of her to go on his site, which he thinks would be ready to launch around April.
I can not control who a model shoots with. None of us can. I also can not control if someone wants to shoot the exact model I am working with. Models are not properties that belong to us. I don?t even care that they shot her, but I do care that they are building a site around her, knowing that I was doing the same. If I did not know Marty & Mark and they had no idea what I was up to, and they did this, there would not be a problem and the early bird would get the worm. However, the fact is, both of them knew in great detail what my intentions were and that I was already working with her on this project. This was a blatant stabbing in the back.
Of course Marty tried to say that he didn't remember that I was doing that with her, but if that was the case then he would not have felt the need to contact me to discuss the issue. He claimed he only thought I was working with her for DVD work, but in fact he and I brained stormed on ideas for the site, and he and Mark both thought it was brilliant and a must do project.
Up until that point I trusted Marty and never thought in my worst nightmares that they would do this to me. I didn't think anyone I knew and got along with would stoop so low. However, what I also found out not long after was that Marty used to work with another program, and that program owner shared his dreams and ideas with Marty to do an Asian solo girl program. Of course, wouldn't you know Marty quit, and with Mark started IslandDollars.com, an Asian solo girl program. It was his best friend that he stabbed in the back to do this. Great friend this guy turns out to be it seems.
In an industry full of scammer, liars, thieves and bottom feeders, it is a breath of fresh air to find people like yourself who you think are a good people and can work together to achieve common goals. I thought the Island Dollars team was among this group and was trustworthy. Then I start to wonder, if Marty will fuck over his best friend, then me, over money... then who else has he fucked over, or which one of you will get it next? Can a dishonest team run an honest program? I would have to say no, because either you are an honest man or you're not. You either fuck people over or you are honorable and earn the respect of those around you.
IslandDollars.com no longer has my support, and most importantly no longer has my respect and my trust. Mark and Marty, who I once considered among friends, have shown their true colors and would no be welcome in my home or at my table. I wish them luck with their conquest to shoot Thai bar girls and pass them off as girls next door, farmers and Indians. Pattaya, Thailand will never run dry of whores that will shoot for them and in fact has close to 100,000 of them. And to think with all of those potential models, they just had to shoot THE ONE that they knew I was already working with.
As I said before, Marty is a very smooth talker and will be quick to put a spin on this, denying all accusations claiming he was not aware or did not remember the conversation about this. There is no doubt he is going to chime in here with his smooth BS in an attempt to justify his actions and not look like a back stabber among his peers. His gift is the ability to talk, and he does it well. As a program owner and someone with a good reputation, he can?t afford for his true colors to be shown, so you can expect the same amount of bull shit to be posted by him, as he has been giving me. Don?t fall for it. The entire circle of guys that hang out together over there ALL knew about this project I was working on, but coincidentally ONLY the Island Dollars team ?forgot? about it and decided to shoot her anyway. They may or may not post here to defend my accusations, it is up to them, but they know the truth. However, their support to substantiate my story would be appreciated.
I am very disappointed with these guys, and now know that I can not trust them, support them or do business with them of any kind. In fact Marty offered, as a peace offering I?m sure, to distribute and collect 100% of a Ladyboy DVD he shot and has been selling on VOD. I declined this generous offer based on the fact that he fucked me once and will probably fuck me again. How do you trust someone who just pulled a move like this?
If you take anything from my experience, know that regardless of your friendship with the guys at Island Dollars, you must assume they will steal any ideas you share with them or fuck you over if they see an opportunity to make a few bucks. Watch your back if you do business with anyone from Island Dollars.
