i've recently lost 25 pounds, it's not difficult to do.
the basic formula never changes- you have to consume less calories than you expend.
the easiest way is to cut calories enough to lose weight, easy because you don't have to fiddle around with supplying yourself enough nutrients and cals to exercise.
the downside is this isn't the healthiest not the wisest, long term.
more difficult is to create a program that has you eating more but including exercise, but healthier and much better than the above.
if you can work out at home i would recommend p90 or p90x. if you are working out at the club i would suggest a program similar to one of these-
