well the article main point is that Apple took the time in it's latest version of the submit program to add an explicit category, and why would they do that unless they have plans to do something other than reject "explicit" apps.

Don't get excited until you hear the definition of "Explicit"... It could just mean rated R... I mean they did just pull down 5k apps... Might just be a place to put them all back in again.

Update: Gizmodo reports that the "Explicit" option is no longer appearing as a category option in iTunes Connect. It is currently unknown why it appeared only briefly today and whether it will return in the future.

According to the developer, Apple said that, while they are thinking about it, "it's not going to happen anytime soon."

no clue why anyone wants to be in the apple universe anyway. they run their app store like the chinese government. the market is coming up with alternates & the porn consumer will buy the hardware/software that delivers the goods.

people are not going to disregard having a superior product just to get porn. browsers will have to do for apple people.

i would disagree. whats left of paying porn customers, i think they would definitely purchase an alternate phone if that means they get freedom or at least much easier access to their porn. the supposition of apple as superior product is also questionable. if apple was so good why are its customers stuck with AT & T's shithole phone service.
