Why not meet in the middle and go with an M3? It is sporty and youthful and you get the reliability of a BMW with a close price range of the 5 series.Comment

BMW is sweet no doubt. but I would go for the S4, i think that it is a more fun car to drive. and if you are looking for sportier and younger, the S4 is the way to go IMO.

Are you stuck between these two cars? If so, I would go with the BMW. If not, I would look into the new Mercedes C-class with 7 speed transmission. The Mercedes don't really stick to their classes these days and some of the coolest ones I've seen have been upgraded C-class. Also, the new Cadillac CTS-V is pretty pimp. 400 horsepower, roomy, and still has a sporty, young look. Here is a link:
