Some random person from adult who's who messaged me about their site. I was in the middle of a million things and politely asked them to message me later when I had more time. They continued on so I just ignored them then she/he started getting hostile because I was not replying. WTF?

It's why I stay off ICQ most of the time.

I seem to get random requests off people I dont know on how to generate traffic to how to set up servers. I dont know fuck all about servers but Im just amazed at someone hitting up a stranger whose icq may be listed on a board and asking for advice without explaining who they are.

Yea no shit. I seem to get more of these "want to set up a site with me?" requests as well these days. I mean, I'm happy helping out a noob now and again, cos I got advice back in the day from a few people, but I mean, you want me to design and build you a damn site now as well???

lol - Thats my pet hate - Americans for some reason always do that

They do the same thing on the phone - I have been left talking to myself a few times. Australians do it as well.

Us Brits do the opposite - we end up saying "goodbye" for ages because we are afraid of looking rude by hanging up first.

Thats just the start, it has become the arrogant cunts chat club, and I am picking the bad habit up myself. icq is full of hackers also, just the other day, i got an auth. request from a dickhead with ip. address of 0. I shunted them, but somehow, they auth. themselves. These fuckers shit me, I just want as many good people in my life as possible to continue my journey in this industry, and wont allow them to win!
