Biggest, $100,000 from an insurance company, and all I had to do was let one of their insureds cause a wreck between their car and my H-D, which resulted a few broken bones, but I would do it again at the drop of a hat. Did not hurt that much.

For a no shit honest reply...this could also go on the have you ever been sued thread.

I started digging into the shady practices of a "notorious" online company.

I would go on their message boards and bust the ceo on a daily basis regarding all kinds of illegal bullshit they were pulling (nothing major, just stuff that would affect their ipo...LOL) ...I became quite infamous in that segment of the online community.

Anyway the guy hired a p.i. to investigate me a lawyer was preparing to serve me...we had some nasty words over the phone...finally it came down to where he figured out I was right...LOL

So he paid me $5K to jot out to LA and sit down and consult with him....all in all I was there 3 days...got the $5k a free trip to LA and met some interesting people.

In the end, they weren't trying to do anything illegal...they were just plain fucking stupid.
