simpsons are just about 6-7 years to late on a movie. family guy demolished the simpsons in terms of fox cartoons, southpark and adultswim basically put a nail in the coffin. i havent seen a good simpsons episode in a long time.

I watched a recent episode of the simpsons and it's definitely lost it's edge...but it's been on forever...Unless they hire new writers, it will get even more stale...The benefit of a cartoon is that the characters never get older.

The Simpsons is the funniest TV show out there. South Park isn't funny. It's pathetic. And Family Guy, while funny ... isn't globally funny. It's too American. And one other thing ... it's simply not as funny as The Simpsons.
