if you were into really serious SEO, you would know that live.com is actually the fastest SE crawler, and you'll be aware of the fact that more than 1.5k inbound links were spidered and none of them is spam.

Nettrust's directory looks well made to me and SE friendly. However if it is doing a PR lookup on each site when the page is reloaded - that could be a problem, unless you have a GG api key.
To those hating on directories.. try comparing the results for dmoz.org or dir.yahoo niche categories to the respective keywords in google's serps and you will see the benefit in directory listings.

Nettrust I suggest you only have a PR check to get into the directory and NO recip.. just to get it jumpstarted.
Because nobody really wants to link to an empty directory.
Once your directory is filled with relevant links, then start requiring recips.Comment

no need to use google api. if you check out pr for 20 or 30 inbound links per day from 1 ip, that's ok! i do have insight in everyone's pr in up to one hour from submitting.

after adding the linkback, all you have to do is to open a category, click on SUBMIT A LINK, fill in the form, and I'll approve your link as soon as possible! you'll get the confirmation e-mail right after that. feel free to submit as many blogs/sites as you want!

Unfortunately, it doesn't make much of a difference. Some blackhat stuff may get you banned, most won't...and even if you get banned, you can get a new domain and pull the same stunt again, it works long enough to make decent money. Blackhat seldom relies on a few sites, it's mass production, a few losses don't hurt in any way.
Whitehat doesn't mean google won't ban your site, lost 2 clean PR5 sites on the last update and it's not like reinclusion works well with adult sites.Comment
