    single word .us domain valuation

    I was checking domain availability for words associated with a hobby of mine & found a single word available, but it is only available in .us

    So, I thought it was a great name with potential & am buying it anyway as a project, but now I am debating about value of it..

    I checked OVT & the word was searched 5454 times in december & several variations in the suggestion list show several hundred searchs for strings including the word, so, does this add to the value?

    Either way, I bought it because it suits my purpose for a project, but I am trying to learn about this thing with domains & value, OVT, etc.


    Just curious if it was worth anything just because it's a single word

              anything.us = $not much

              Look at DNJOURNAL.COM. There may be a few .US sales listed there, but it is not big money.

                  Sedo doesnt seem to get much in the way of business from .us doms so that could be an indicator of $$ value the name as an empty site.

                      I collect civil war weapons, among other various guns, bayonets, swords & other militaria & was going to start some sites on these things..

                      I just grabbed Bayonets.us & CivilWarGuns.us & also ConfederateGuns.com


                      I have a nice list of other names, but not sure I want to buy them all

                          Well spacedog - I would say a forum on each of those would go down well over time. I'd get confederateguns.us aswell if its available - just for the network.
