1st Post - Can I update my site without loosing my search engine position

Hi everybody at GFY. This is my very first post . I have been reading and learning here for some months now, but never actually asked any questions. My question is can I update my site without loosing my good position in the search engines. I have decent placement for a couple of keywords and don't want to drop into infinity when I update again. I am a newbie, so any good advice is appreciated.

As long as you keep in mind keywords you can update to infinity. I reccomend blogs for this reason. They are extremely SEO friendly and you get out of the sandbox quicker than you can say it. Not literally of course, but they are still kickass ideas for SEO.

Thank you, that's what I thought. So, is there a way to make my site a blog and keep my SE rankings? What's the best blog software to use to manage multiple domains?

Thank you guys for welcoming me. One more question. Why are blogs so much better than static pages, when it comes to SEO? Do you think it is better for me to put blogs on the rest of my domains?

I know that you mean.I was afraid to touch my site when google picked up of my sponsor links. 500-1000 hits a day straight to paysite with my ref code.
