So, it isn't just that he is Muslim but that anything that is done to make passengers worry about their safety should be a firing offence. Perhaps if he actually stopped and said something to the passengers about what he was about to do it wouldn't have been that much of a deal (other than people pissed off) but to just stop and do what looks like a demonstration and leave them locked in and worried without information is unforgivable regardless of his particular religion.

He would have got a punt to the head if I was on that bus.

Muslims should be allowed to pray of course but come on there is a time and place. I remember a greek friend of mine was heading to greece a couple weeks after 911, as the plan was about to take off 5 muslims were in the planes walkways praying LOL

Five-minute prayer session - that is no problem at all.

Some of the bus drivers in my city go out of the bus to have a coffee for 10 minutes - that's even worse.
