If porn is dead then why does it pay more than adsense?

At least it appears that way to me.

From my experience, when dividing the total money earned by the total
unique hits to the web page, porn pays more.

I always feel like, "man, if only I could put adsense on my porn site, I would make so
much money from clicks". But when I look at my mainstream sites with adsense and
do the actual pay per visitor, porn wins every time.

Anyone else have the opposite happening?

On another note:

A youtube video that has 100k views seems to be worth only $40-$80 total!!!!
When I get a message about some money for something to do with one of
my videos, it's never more than that and I saw an ebay auction for a youtube
video with over 300k views and the bidding ended under $50.
I think this video would not qualify for the youtube partner program so that
may(emphasis on may) explain the low bids on ebay.

Why would anyone buy a youtube video you may ask.
Well, if you are producing music and are in the youtube audio swap catalog then
you would like to buy those videos and audio swap to your own music tracks
and take the audio swap money. I figure these "swappers" know exactly what
these videos are paying since they probably have 10's-100's-1000's of
swapped videos to do the math with.

I haven't gotten any offers that would even make me care.
I swapped to a song I liked and passed up the offer to swap for pay!!!!

I mean, why care about $40 audio swap when you can make a gallery and get
multiple $40 sign ups with the same effort?

Maybe I'm missing something. Help me out here if you know the "low-down".
