Just wondering since i am switching to bank which offers only Maestro/Cirrus card.. I was able to buy almost anything using the VISA ATM card. Will Maestro/Cirrus work the same way?

Maestros dutch isnt it, I got a visa from ING when I lived there, my Rabo bank card was only maestro, and I don't think it worked online. -

not just europe but worldwide , just allows you to access your cash from atms when you travel over seas
so no you can't buy stuff online using a bankcard , a debit card is something different , its a bankcard that is hooked up to the visa network to purchase goods instead of using borrowed money you use the money that is in your accountComment
