Depends where I'm going and for what purpose. Every time I go to Europe I'm carrying 7 large bags and pelican cases etc... but... that's all lighting and camera equipment. I only have one carry-on size bag for my personal stuff. -

I pack very little, I hate dragging around luggage unless it can all fit on a pack on my back.
