    Friendly Canadian Moose. (pIc)

    PETE is standing on his back deck which is about two feet off of the ground, and he is about six one and 250 lbs so she ( the moose )is a fair sized critter.

                                                      The Females are pretty docile. It's the males that you need to be careful with if you encounter one.

                                                      This picture was sent to me from a friend. I don't know the guy in the photo, but I get the feeling he's familiar with this animal.

I've had similar encounters with elk as a child and another one in my early 20's.
