Well, you had mentioned that you couldn't believe anybody could survive in business on the web with no ability to develop and/or promote a web site, and so, since you are so familiar with Affiliate programs, let me ask you this:
If the person who owned sex.com did nothing but forward traffic to one of your affiliate programs (with his affiliate code) do you think he could he earn a living? Rember, he has no web site, he doesn't know how to make a web site, he doesn't have any idea how to promote a web site or to get listed in search engines, all he does is forward the type-in traffic to your affiliate program.
