Ofcource it is not, have you never read Descartes? For this particular topic, i reccomend Principles of Philosophy or Discourse on Method. Or you could just go with his ever-famous line Cogito Ergo Sum and think about it for a minute or two

Let me check if i understood this right, you mean some sort of "hive mind" ? And do you mean the human species? Because there is a certain breed of ants that have something -like- that, but nowhere what I think you said.

Those ants have a series of smells and looks that are unique to these ants, and as such they never fight amongst themselves and have spread over a huge area. If you take an egyptian one and drop it near a french colony of the same species of ants, the french ants will immediatly accept it into the colony as one that has lived there since birth. And the egyptian ant will know its way around like it has lived there since birth. Not all of it can be explained by the people studying them, but they have flown tons of ants from egypt to france and vice versa

But for us humans, the hive mind thing is "impossible". I cant say for sure, because I dont know what happens when we learn to fully use the incredible tool we have in our skull to the fullest, but considering the concept of "free will", i should say that its not very likely. Even in a purely hypothetical/philosophical way.

And if you mean across all species then you are just silly and should read up on how the brain functions

And everyone should read up on the theory of falsification by Karl Popper, that genious should be mandatory in all school systems across the world.
