    Fun with people who don't speak English....

    So I was walking down the street today and some guy steps up and starts talking to me. I stood there listening to him ramble on in Spanish then I asked him if he spoke English. He did not.

    So.....

    I start throwing out random words....Actually, most of them were not words at all as far as I know. I'm saying all sorts of shit while pointing at street signs and looking like I am totally lost. Every once in awhile I'd throw in a real word that he could understand so that I would keep his attention.

    This went on for about 15 minutes while the guy tried to help me. All he really could tell was that I was not Spanish and I seemed to be lost.

    Finally I pulled the hotel key card out of my wallet and showed it to him. The hotel was in clear sight about a block or so away. He laughed and pointed at the hotel. I said "gracias" then turned away and continued the direction I was headed which was away from the hotel.

    Poor guy really looked confused at that point.

                                          I got one from Spain.. I was in Barcelona a few years ago and looking for a bank to change money.

                                          I see what looks like a bank with a line of people outside. ..so I get in line...

                                          The last guy in line turns around and gives me a really weird look like he thinks I'm crazy

                                          I ask him "esta banco?" and he busts out laughing so hard

                                          He says "NO NO POLICIA!"

                                          Apparently everyone in the line had just been arrested for something and were about to be led into the police station...
