How hard is it to make some spending cash promoting?

I've never really bothered with trying to promote any pograms in Adult. I've always been on the design end of things making money in Adult and do pretty well with it.
I was promoting a little though back in early 2000. I remember I made like 10 grand promoting Join4Free back than. But obviously that was back when it was easy to do still.

I am not looking to make big $. Just some spending cash really.
So here's a question -- how tough is it to make let's say $1,000 / month promoting in adult now?

i'm really not trying to bust balls here honestly...

if you've not done anything affiliate wise in the last 10 years what makes you think you're qualified to create landing pages/galleries/etc for other people aiming to get good/decent ratios?

You do not need to be an affiliate or promote programs in order to be good at web design or paysite design or adult design in general. There's a difference between building sites and knowing how to drive traffic to them etc.

so there's no correlation between building/designing sites and their ratios?

Why do you insist on busting my balls when you clearly said that was not your intention?

With all due respect, JD...that's a ridiculous argument. I have NEVER done anything on the affiliate end...nor have I ever owned a paysite...but guess what? I know what the fuck I am doing and my shit converts. Some of us have been too busy throughout our careers to have the opportunity to explore other facets of the business. Personally, I am so busy designing I simply don't have time to work on things that would generate passive income. I wish I did, believe me. But I refuse to outsource -- everything I design I design -- and time is finite and my time is eaten up (sadly, just) making a living

Hard for some, easy for others. All you can do is give it a try. :2c
