    Russian traffic

Question i have for some time.

I redirect worthless traffic from my site (traffic from China, India, Turkey, etc.) to avoid wasting bandwith and scammers, etc.

However I always had some doubts if Russian traffic is equally worthless. Recently I got some russian IPs spamming my site and I'm considering redirecting the whole country (just like I do for China, etc.).

anyone knows if russian traffic is worth keeping?

russian traffic converts well but you need some special solutions to convert it (e.g. local sms billings etc). with a standard card processor the results are approx. the same as with south american traffic

            Hey Ray,

As Dalila said, PSMS is a viable alternative for this market, hit up Morten over at http://www.global-acces.com for this.

Also, In Russia Ukash has entered into an agreement with Wallet One (W1), which has a strong presence in the Ukraine and CIS countries as well, see sig.

Best use phone billing for Turkish traffic imo eg www.password-by-phone.com whose platform is geo-targeted in 45 languages, including Turkish. Access to you content in granted for the time the surfer is connected to a premium number.

We offer phone billing for Turkey.

We can bill pretty much every single country on the planet.
It is incredible to see the amount of money left on the table by programs who do not have alternate billing.
There are billions of people on this planet who do not have access to a credit card.
It is imperative for programs to not only offer a billing solution that is adaptable and scalable to every country, in addition, programs out there should really consider translating their sites to cater to specific countries.
                        .
