Looks like you have macrumorslive.com open as well.
This thing looks sweet. But not sure it is going to be called an iPod. They made references to blending an iPod, cellphone and net communicator together, then called it iPhone, though there have been several references using "communicator". Either way, the pics they are showing look amazing if it works this way out of the box.

Seems to hint at having GPS in this section update:

10:28 am
google maps supports staellite images
10:28 am
after all the tapping, screen is still clear
10:28 am
finds washington monument
10:28 am
hangs up
10:27 am
oh sorry - wrong number
10:27 am
orders 4000 latte's to go
crowd laughs
10:27 am
presses a button and calls starbucks
10:27 am
finds a nearby starbucks
10:27 am
finds moscone west
10:26 am
it knows where you are

if it is the iPhone (the BBC says that as well now!), then I wouldn't mind being nuvio.com, who hole the iphone.com domain name -looks like their servers can't handle the traffic at the momentLooks like you have macrumorslive.com open as well.

I really love the pinch resizing - Apple really excelled their trackpad scrolling patent with that one.
What did he say - over 300 patents on one phone. wow
not a single finger smudge on the screen after all that demoing. Great stuff

what looks REALLY dodgy is battery life -
16h was mentioned for mp3 playing
5h for phone
and that was it - any mac user knows os x is a power hog... OS X for the iPod will of course be a trimmed down version, but all those cool effects cost cpu cycles...

It sucks. It's not broadband (3G). I have no clue why'd they launch something with inferior connectivity, truly boggles my mind. It looks kick ass and has all other aspects in control, why would they just go with EDGE? It's like apple launching a kick-ass new computer but it doesn't have a RJ45 port, just plain phoneline plug.....and I'm off.Comment

It's a nice feature, but say you want to go to camping, or maybe spend a week or 7 at a summer cabin in the middle of nowhere... IT'd be grand to just
a) Use your cellphone browser there
b) link it to your laptop and voilà , wireless broadband anywhere.
.... I really really am wondering their decision to stick with edge...and I'm off.Comment
