Super excited about this new iPad, can't wait to get one.

We're going to be selling the domain iPadPorn.com in the next week.

We've owned it since last august so there should be no trademark issues.

We're no longer working on developing adult sites so don't need it for our own use.

We want to see it go to a good home and get used for what it's intended.

Will update you as soon as we've got the auction setup.

apple itself will have to fight trademark disputes if Fujitsu raises them, since they have Ipad named product in use for a couple of years now.

Are you new to this industry or domain name industry for that matter?

If you think you are in the clear because you registered this before a trademark was released.... ROFL... rethink your plans and have your bankroll and lawyers handy.

thanks for the feedback.

We've never used the domain in such a manner that implies any relation to apple's product, only to porn, and have been doing so well before apple launched it's product.

We have had a huge amount of interest in this domain and the lucky buyer can decide how they want to use it.

we bought these domains last year before the iPad for another project, not for apple's iPad.

Now that apple has come out with the iPad, we can't really use them for what we want, so we decided to get rid of them. We had tons of people contact us about buying them so we've decided to auction them to be fair ...

yes, there maybe be some legal questions now that apple has released the ipad, but obviously some people are willing to work with that and want them or we wouldn't have a bid of $1500 and $1350 already.

that happened within minutes of each other and only have one bid. If you get more bids / actually complete that transaction, I would be very surprised, but good luck.

Well, it's for sure worth much more than reg fee but yeah, I know what you mean. Building anything bigger around it might be a gambling with luck. The funny is that making sub domain like that probably would be all alright while a top domain is questionable because of the appetite for easy already developed advertisement. So they will probably wait till you develop it and then will kindly ask for transferring to them. That's how it works.

It's called creating your own buzz... they have the fan base/cult to get the product sold, that they won't have to worry about... its only about the people who are going to actually use it rather than having it as a book holder on a shelf

- when i said that is a good testament, i was talking about the comment about the fact that "IpodPorn(.com) is still alive..." posted by someone earlier.

- the survey was by RBC/ChangeWave for RBC Capital Markets, not by apple

and who cares how much people bad mouth apple, they just keep on kicking, my apple stock has tripled since i bought it a few years back much better than a lot of my investments :P

After pulling all the "racy" apps from the app store last week it looks like apple is trying to come up with some way to sell the more adult-oriented apps through the itunes store by adding a explicit category soon ...

don't get me wrong, I like Apple, I own stock in their company, because of there obvious success. They are able to get a Cult fan to buy anything they sell, no matter how useless it can be. iphone, great... mac book's / mac desktop, great... ipod/itouch, great... ipad, ipad domains, anything to do with ipad's, throw up a hail mary and cross your fucking fingers...
