We're going to be selling the domain IpadPorn.com in the next week.
We've owned it since last august so there are no trademark issues.

I would ONLY buy it if you can use it as a remote control for AV devices.
Depending on the price, it may pull a lot of people away from the Sony Reader which they seem to be doing a lot of advertising and marketing for.
Amazon just released they are giving you the Kendal for free (try it for 30 days, say you hate it and you get it for free), but its only black and white and limited.

I have an ipod/itouch, it's a great toy... having a bigger screen would be nice. The question is, can it replace my mini - which I doubt.
If apple makes you have another data plan on this thing, it could be free and I wouldn't get it.

No Flash blows.
I have a lightweight laptop and an android phone, I don't see the benefit yet of this device. Seemed like Jobs was playing up that it's a great web browser but since it doesn't work with Flash I'd have to disagree with him.
The only thing that seems to be sensible is the way it serves what would be traditionally printed media, like magazines and books... but to be honest, even though they are dying, I still like to buy magazines and books. I don't like readers like the kindle, I like the feeling of a paperback in my hand, and I still like crossing my legs, dropping a magazine in my lap and flipping through the glossy pages. It's nice to be able to read text and look at images once in a while that aren't on a lighted screen.
