    $250 prize design contest, logo design for TopCherry.com

    Hi talented designers!

    I need a catchy cartoon logo for a upcoming free site on TopCherry.com. Ideas? The site will feature gratuitous free movie and picture galleries. The site's personna/operator is named "Popper". Perhaps someone can come up with something that is a cartoon logo with a girl, one or more strategically placed cherries and perhaps even a charicature of the man 'Popper'. Undecided as to whether or not the 'Popper' character should be included in the logo so let us know what you think and show us with your designs what you think would be best!

    This site does will not exclusively cater to any particular niche, it will have various types of free content, but does aim to focus on quality and making the surfers HAPPY.

    There's no reason not to reward more than one person. Payouts are via PayPal or check. So...

    First prize is $200
    Runner-Up prize is $50

    Just looking for something clean, fun and catchy. The contest ends on Tuesday the 9th.

                  Out of my domain portfolio this was one of the many 'top' names I have, like topdicks.com, toplegs.com, topbreasts.com, topbutts.com and of course topcherry.com. I registered them all back in February of 2000.. You know, back when top-lists generated traffic and everyone didn't give too much free porn away!

                              Personally, I think the artists from spunktoons would be perfect for this..

                                  people that charge 200 for a design dont generally want to jump into a contest that they *might* win 200 on. you have to bump it up a bit to get people to work for free with hopes of winning.

                                      May be true, but on the other hand, their work is seen, other people will see their skills & likely they'll earn more business by landing new clients who have read the thread. So, even if an artist or designer may not win a contest thread, there is still opportunity for them to show the board what skills they have, & generate more business.

                                          That's my primary motivation for running a contest. I often observe on here they bring attention to people that do great work and content of substance on GFY helps build your business.
