(iran has major underground and fortified facilities for their nuclear program)

6) iran refuses to engage ANY country or international authority in dialogue on the issue
7) smokey thinks that all fine and perfect and really sees no issue with it.

Vanunu took photographs of the place where they were building the nuclear bombs and gave them to the press. If he was lying why did they lock him up for 18 years and why now that he is released can't he leave Israel and why does he have to give notice if he is leaving town and why is he banned from talking to journalists?

The man went to the press with the information so killing him would have made it worse for Israel as he warned the media he may be killed for exposing the weapons. So instead he was arrested as a traitor of Israel there was no secrecy in that. But he all his court hearings were highly confidential and he was released once all info was absolute public knowledge even if it is meant to be secretive.
