Transitioning from Premiere to Final Cut is relatively easy since they have similar interfaces. I made the switch about four years ago when Adobe quit supporting Premiere for the Mac (which is my preferred computer) - Adobe has since gone back to supporting Mac users, but I fell in love with FCP in the interim.

I highly recommend that you consider purchasing Final Cut Studio. It has an incredible array of programs and tools, and it works practically seamlessly with the Mac OS, since both are made by Apple.

There are many good Final Cut forums and tutorials too...

Good luck,

ADG
