Ohh and his job as a recruiter is to qualify the applications and match them with proper jobs, not read a resume, a resume doesn't qualify anyone
if a person is not capable of writing a good resume and does not have the intelligence to do some research beforehand, look at examples or lacks the general diligence to make sure they are doing all within their power to present themselves in the best light possible,... then that person is too useless to be employed. end of story. the resume should be thrown in the garbage. that person has already told you up front their they're not mature enough, intelligent enough, skilled enough and just not ready to work for someone else.

a resume is how you present yourself to potential employers. its your first chance to sell yourself. its the only first impression you get to make. its a reflection of a persons grasp of the most basic fundamentals of professional life and whats expected of them - and a shitty resume is a sure sign of someone who is out of touch, doesn't "get it" and its a disaster waiting to happen and an obvious red flag, signaling as to why they're unemployed to begin with.

a recruiters job is to find the best candidates for the employer. "skills" have little to do with what makes a good employee good and a bad employee bad. a recruiters job is not to coach candidates on how not to be a moron and how to fake it through the hiring process... which is both a disservice to the employer and potential employee.
