These guys are from Israel so I was not sure if I wanted to take legal action but I found out they also have offices in L.A which I just found out so I might be looking into taking them to court if thats what you guys think I should do.

Thats tons of money they made off of advertising that they would not have made without my content.

Im very upset about this, do you think I would have a chance in court?

I have had no luck contacting them now or in the past about other smaller issues so I was kind of freaking out. I just noticed a few minutes ago though that there is a report this video link that allowed me to register as my content. So if these guys are really legit it looks like I will get my $39,000, sweet. I will follow up with all if they come through and send me my 39,000 check.

I hate to break it to you, but I don't think you qualify to be paid since they do not accept "violent" videos for their paid program....also I doubt the people who jacked the video from you have been paid a penny for it either because of the no violence rule, and also because the top earner listed on the site made somewhere around 25,000... not 40,00o.

I guess the bigger issue here is that metacafe itself is earning money on these videos... obviously, as you said, at least 5 per 1000 views. So they are profiting. It seems to me like they have kind of shot themselves in the foot by offering the money... Its basically admitting that they make money on things they do not own the rights to.
