heh, i live *in* an olympic venue, i'm right at the base of the mountain in creekside. we have tickets to the downhill (as well as the luge), but the finish line is literally 100 feet from my patio. we need to wear security passes just to go outside, it's just insane. we could watch it on the bigscreen as we watch them pass the finish line just outside through the windows/patio. but... i guess we will take the lame temporary chairlift up to the spectator area, as i've got the tickets, and a bunch of people coming up and are all stoked to see it from there. personally, i can't wait for all this hype to finally be over with.
