Nope haven't done it in about 10 years. It's too mellow for me. But if you guys are telling me that wild dancing is part of the new ecstasy then I would say it isn't real ecstasy. Ecstasy is VERY mellow and several of the clubs I played in my band would have afterhours all night rave parties.

The club would close at 2:00 a.m. and then re-open with no alcohol served. They would only serve water and pacifier shaped suckers (no, I'm not making this shit up)

The places would fill up with a couple of thousand teens all doing ecstasy. The DJ would play rave music and most of them had laser light shows. And the place turned into a land of zombies.

First thing would happen would be a ton of vomitting. The X was always laced with heroin flakes.

After the vomitting was done the kids all laid against the walls rubbing each others shoulders and staring at the laser lights.

I'm not into that scene. But no, there was no crazy dancing. And certainly no speed induced jaw grinding.

The police dept. always sent uniformed cops to be "security" for the rave parties. I knew most of the cops. And I would kick back into the club around 5 a.m. to make sure our band gear wasn't being fucked with on the stage by all these kids.

The cops would always tell me that they didn't actively try to bust any of the kids because ecstasy users were the easiest people to handle. Never any fights, never any trouble. Just people laying around rubbing each others shoulders.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. Have they created a new speed and call it "ecstasy" ? Because that is not what real X did.

Ecstasy and dance/club/rave music go as far back as i can ever remember. And i have done it all for years both here and in many other country's. Ecstasy IS the dance drug. I have NEVER heard anyone call it "mellow" lol.
