No one really used their cams until programs like Skype and sites like Youtube came along... I know I had a cam in 1997, but my first cam2cam conversation was using Skype in 2006.
But of course no one are going to use the cam all the time - just like we are still writing this using text. The format you deliver information in depends on your purpose. You want to have some hot time with someone else, then I´m sure the format will change - just ask Skyy John
