On the airplane doesn't count. I personally haven't turned mine off since i got it (with the exception of plane rides of course). I know a few people who say they turns theirs off every night. Others say never. A cell phone could literally stay on for years. It's crazy how these things are built. How often do you turn yours off?

It's amazing...back in '97, I had a home number and a pager, and I got every message.
Today, I got A bus. line, a fax line, 2 cell numbers,(all with caller ID , voice mail, 3 way, answering machines, ect.) a pda, and at least 5 email addresses that I use frequently, and contact forms on all my websites, and people still say:"I tried to contact you."
I never turn it off. I have at least 7 ways to contact me 24/7, most of them are on my body. and I'm not that important!Comment

at the movies, comedy shows, concerts, plays, etc. I think its extremely rude for people to leave it on, even if it's on vibrate, some of those things are more powerful than a sybian and in the middle of a movie, etc, everyone can still ehar it buzzing.
