Most of us at GFY are here to promote a product or service (except for the surfers), and it is admirable to want to represent for your company, but it might be more effective if you try and be a little more subtle with your spamming, rather than carpet-bombing the front page all at once on the same day.

A bit off topic, but I'll respond nonetheless...
Tommy does one event a year on average, and in the weeks leading up to it, does a handful of posts spaced out featuring pix of the models attending (for the last event, he did like ten posts, each featuring a different model, spaced out over nearly a one month period).
I understand that aside from that he doesn't participate much on GFY (about 300 posts since 2003), and therefore I have no problem with your critique from that perspective. In the past, I've also criticized him for that.
To my recollection. I only spoke up once defending Tommy in response to what I felt were your mean-spirited attacks. Posting your spam objection is one thing, but posting a bunch of pics of ******* or beastility-like pix in his threads, I found objectionable. I'm glad you have thus far refrained from that in Stacy's multiple spam threads in a single day today.

The real trick is to post not only "automated" but to actually come into a thread and add some personal touches to your freeze dried spam. When I go to two boards in a raw and see exactly the same post, word for word, I know that it is spam. They get "mentally filtered" from that point on, and no longer matter.Comment

dugmor also comes into threads and will post the exact same thing she does, it was only when he happened to be online and I called him (and her) out that he took notice and the spam to my rss threads stopped happening
it was killing me...I would start some KILLER rss threads, and they would come in and paste that 2 page reply that stated "JOIN RIGHT NOW IS DEFINITELY ON TOP OF THE RSS GAME!!!!", when the ironic part is that they have some of the worst rss feeds in the industry, they just happened to have some of the first full program feeds, so they thought they were "ahead" of the game for eternity...LOL
dugmor seems like a cool cat, but he does live in third world countries, so I guess I can't get upset when the people posting for him are his neighborsComment
