How can Sunny Leone be the web starlet of the year? Or how can Lexi Belle be the new web starlet of the year?

Has AVN ever heard of Rachel Aziani? Or Kelly Madison? Or Celeste Fox? Or might I humbly add the biggest solo girl site in the world...Claudia-Marie.Com? I mean hell...I started Claudia's site in May of 2007. She wasn't in the adult business at all. Just a singer in my band. And we outsold and have more traffic (people who like her) than Lexi Belle, Sunny Leone, and every LA porn girl combined have ever had on the web. I've never heard a peep from AVN. lol

I can think of several other girls who are huge stars who have never gotten recognition as well.

If AVN wants more people to be interested in the awards show in the mainstream...then I would think they would want to get girls who are famous outside of just Los Angeles.

Even some of the better known girls in LA can't stack up against some of the big names on the web.

For instance, last night at The Palms. The place is slammed. "Stars" are walking by everywhere. Dave Navarro, Flava Flave, etc.

Shane Diesel comes in with Sara Jay and Claudia-Marie and I were talking to them by the bar. Then we started walking through the crowd.

Now I know exactly who Sara Jay is, and I'm sure all of you do too.

But we got stopped every 2 feet with people wanting to meet Claudia and get a picture with her. Not one fan even noticed Sara Jay.

And Claudia isn't the only web personality that happens with. I'm only relaying what I am seeing with my own eyes. With the way the adult industry has consolidated itself with the internet and DVD sides pretty much being one and the same...I would think that AVN should start recognizing the stars of the internet and stop letting the same people in Los Angeles nominate the same "stars" and companies over and over.

At least for the internet awards for God's sake. It doesn't take a genius to check traffic stats and figure out who the most popular girls websites are and act accordingly.

Obviously if you have a girl getting a hundred thousand uniques to her website every day...she is going to draw a lot more fan interest if she wins an award than a LA porn girl who has sold a thousand DVDs ever will.
Bigger than Carol Cox?
