Do these awards mean anything? Personally if I ever won whatever statue they give out, it would live in my basement or auctioned off on eBay. This is not a business of achievement other than making money. The skill is making money, not acting. Not production...which is pretty basic and certainly not directing (cough, cough) It kinda makes me laugh. This, btw, is not piss. Nor is it jealousy before anyone drives down that road. It is an observation.
I suppose the only real achievement award I see there, is CC Bill. It was very tough to produce a reliable billing system out of the chaos that is our industry.
