What a completely stupid and idiotic analogy. You're right... we should lump homosexuality with murder, rape and theft. Let's just surreptitiously throw a non-violent act that hurts no one in the mix with acts that DO cause violence and harm on others. I thought you were a whack job before but this seals it.
And evolution? What do you know about evolution? Did you know that some scientist believe that homosexuality is merely one facet of evolutions "natural" control of population? This is why you see homosexuality in the animal kingdom. Animals have no guided reasoning for the act, they merely do it by genetic design as do most humans who are homosexual.
The funny thing about all this? It falls back to religion... even if you claim to be an atheist. Why? Well gee, who has always banged it into peoples head that homosexuality is unnatural? The religious. And what happens, the religious may become diluted but the morals they instilled into society remain. They become self sustaining and migrate beyond the bounds of religion into the belief systems of the non religious. This is the perfect nature of religions poison on society over time. You might even say it is the perfect weapon.
