    Man Leaves Child In Car. Blames It On "Adult Novelty Store Addiction"

    A man left his 3-year-old son alone in a van parked outside an adult bookstore, where the man spent at least 40 minutes, police said.
    Mr. Stewart apologized and "stated he has an addiction to these types of stores," police said.

    Idiot. Our country is WAY too quick to throw out the terms "addiction" and/or "mental illness" to explain away their fucked up behaviors.

                      Believe it or not this is actually a common occurence. I used to always get customers that would try to come in with small children, even infants. When I would tell them that they couldn't have their kids in the store they would leave and come back a minute later minus the kids, who were left in the car in a neighborhood that closely resembled Beirut. Not to mention the ones who used to cruise the parking lot looking for hookers from the project next door with their infant in a baby carrier in the back seat.
