    Is this country not the biggest shithole ever?
    A port of call for me was Ocho Rios, and by god, I've never been more harassed to buy stupid shit than ever before! Everything's dirty and all the shops seem to be a scam. Does anyone have Kingston experience?

              i went to Negril before and it pretty much sucked. Same shit, harassment etc. Fuck that place, I'll never go back

                  Hate to say it, I got married there 20 years ago, and yep your right it is 3rd world but the people are really nice natured, yes they are trying to sell their wear and goods but they have too to provide food and clothes for their families.
                  You would do the same if you had too !!

                                                          I never been there, but I was told that once you leave your hotel grounds...you are harrased to buy week non stop until you purchase from them.

                                                          Just come to NYC, and you can visit a Jamaican area in the Bronx...

                                                                  I've been to Jamaica 5 times and love it... I mainly just like Negril.
                                                                  I've flown into Kingston, been to Ocho Rios... and other places.

                                                                  And, I would say that if you like cruises... Jamaica probably isn't for you. I know what you saw there and your right, that pretty much sucks for anyone...

                                                                  There is a difference entering a country as a tourist or a traveler.
                                                                  I would personally never stay at a resort or all-inclusive there again. (I have)

                                                                  I've had great times and laughed, connected, partied and heard great music.
                                                                  But it's not for everyone.
