Banner clicks are better. When you get skim clicks, they can come from anywhere for no apparent reason. CTR doesn't matter because they clicked blindly. They may have been looking for Amateur but landed on your granny site. They didn't know where they were going until they landed.
True banner clicks are better because they saw something they were interested in and clicked it. Hence the higher price per click. A big difference on the quality of the clicks.
