The Most Nervous Darts Player In The WORLD !!!

This was live on TV yesterday.

I just hope this video works for everyone. Quite unreal actually. I don't think i have ever seen anyone score '5' live on tv before. And how the hell did he hit 'double 1' when trying to hit treble 20 lol.

Australia's Anthony Fleet struggles badly with his nerves on the Lakeside stage in his first-round match with former champion Martin Adams, throwing one of the least impressive opening legs of darts ever seen at the World Championships.

Fleet dropped his darts and looked unsteady on his feet at times as the occasion bewildered the Canberra man.

"I have waited 20 years to get here and I have embarrassed myself," Fleet said.

I can't believe how nutty the Scots are about Darts. I'm a half Scots and don't get it.lol. I get World Match Play Darts on TV here in Canada and have to laugh my ass off as 1000's of Scots get together to drink and watch other guys play darts. They're going absolutely nuts too.

I have to say I love playing cricket and 501. I started watching darts a couple years ago, I find its very dramatic and the commentators are a riot to listen to.

It's all over the UK actually. Not just Scotland.

The PDC (which is on Sky) is where the real money is. The BDO (bbc) which is what this game in the vid was from really is a poorer level now.

But yes, the darts sells out everywhere now in the UK. It's a battle to try and get tickets for it. I guess people just like the fact you can go and have a laugh while not supporting anyone in particular, while getting drunk at the same time.

Football (soccer) here gets boring sometimes at the game as you can't drink, and you freeze your ass off in the process...

It really isn't just Scotland. It is a big deal every year in the UK and I believe it is even bigger in other European countries. It is one of those things, like the Snooker coverage, that I have never really gotten used to since moving here.

I get it a lot more than I get the Canadian obsession with curling, or the Pakistan obsession with cricket. People play darts in bars. Only wieners play cricket or curling.

I also don't get the complete obsession the world (outside the USA) has with soccer, which they call football. Crazy people will kill for that sport, especially the people in the football-nutty UK!

I never got the soccer thing. Its slow. It lasts too long. Its girly as fuck. And the world outside of Canada and the US goes nuts for it. But they do the same thing for cricket which can last five days for one game.

Regarding this vid, how fucking horrible it must feel when mid-game with tons of points to go, you have to hear the announcer say what you just threw: 5. You wonder why it never occurred to him that he kept missing RIGHT...hell, if he moved his aim left a bit and got 20s for all those 1s, he probably would have been in business. It's not like his opponent was doing THAT well. Hell, he was AHEAD of his opponent at one point.
