I've send a few to rapidshare type sites and I'm not even a program owner..

They remove the links regardless though..

I never said I was the owner of the content, I just send emails to rapidshare and tell them the video is copyrighted. They don't really ask questions, they just delete!

If only I could do it on the studios behalf... usual when we find pirated versions of the same dvds/scenes we are promoting, then we forward them to the content resellers, but nothing happens. They say its up to the studios, so I guess the studios don´t care about their content being stolen.

In 2010 we will not buy content from any content reseller or studio that do not protect their copyright, when we contact them

I've been doing that for years for a micro niche that I promote. You don't even have to send in a proper DMCA to Rapidshare, just a quick email with the offending link and they will pull it down. Several other file sharing sites will do the same thing. They are too overwhelmed with emails to bother investigating, they will just pull it down no questions asked...
