I would rather get 10 emails I can delete in 10secs then a bunch of bullshit mail from crappy business's in my neighborhood .. and there wasting paper those bastards!!

Nothing wrong with that. Spam is very bad for business and fucked up the internet with its garbage. People were just beginning to trust online commerce when spam technology got really sophisticated and cost a lot of people a lot of money and fucked up a lot of computers. If spammers were all in jail then we would all breath a little easier. Spammers are criminals, crooks and are as rotten as drug dealers spreading poison.

Spamhouse is out of control. Granted, everybody hates getting spam email, and it's a waste of your time, but you can get rid of it with a click of your mouse, and it's definitely NO reason to put anyone in jail.

For that matter, they should put the jehova witnesses in jail: they knock on your door every week and spam the daylights out of you, making you waste precious time!

Back when I first got into this industry I tried spamming. I hope the statute of limitations has expired...

Anyway... It was like having a money tree in the backyard. Send out 1,000,000 messages and get 10 to 20 sales... All in all it takes about 2 minutes to queue and release... Insane...

Then some duchebag got busted and went to prison for 8 years with something like a 1.2 million dollar fine. That got me to stop.

IMO, "spamming" is not allowed because it falls under the umbrella of illegal online activities, such as fake/phishing emails, scams, etc. None of which are done by your aunt or college friends... they are all done by "spammers" hammering away at thousands of emails hoping to get 1 person to actually fall for it.

So to put the brakes on them, making "spamming" a federal offense scares a lot of people away

It's not harmless, it's not just click and delete. I had one email address that would receive over 200 spam messages per day.

Thank god gmail's spam filter is awesome.I moved that domain to google for applications and the spam is gone.
