Why shouldn't we grant Interpol authority in the States?
And why wouldn't an INTERNATIONAL police force's authority trump LOCAL police force's authority?
You're telling me that if an international criminal being chased by interpol enter's the States, interpol should just have to drop the chase and let the FBI take over a case and criminal they know nothing about? Wow, yeah cause that is real productive.
Or you're telling me, if that criminal enters bumfuck Idaho and is held up in some building. Joe Schmoe town sheriff should have the authority to trump interpol's authority?

And yeah it "could" be a bad thing - interpol could just sweep in and take over the country and we'd be helpless and it's all big goverment's plan to control our lives. However my tin foil hat is in the wash right now so I have better things to do than get into some idiotic conspiracy theory.
