    Merry Christmas from SoCal (pics)

    For as long as I can remember I have celebrated Christmas morning by taking a bike ride. After a month a dealing with all the traffic from the Christmas shoppers, Christmas morning is a welcome break.

    Here are a few pics from this morning's ride.

                                          They are 2009 Royal Enfield's, manufactured in India. Royal Enfield has been around since 1955 and most [or a good portion] of their bikes are made for the Indian Army.

                                          To be honest, I did not know the company still existed, but it seems that they have been around and are sold in 49 states (all except CA). I happened to come across these guys.

                                          Apparently, they are getting ready to be released in CA and I happened to come across two of the four in this state.

                                                                                                          Thanks for mentioning that, soon as I saw them, I knew what they were(being indian mfg) new. They were sold in Canada about 5-6 yrs ago , never really took off

                                                                                                                                                                              They are not 'speedy" by any means, but they are freeway legal.
