How old was she? mom is 72 had a heart attack a couple months ago and 2 cataracks removed and can't see shit now.I thought I lost her then.gotta spend more time with her

She was 77.

She had an eye removed a couple years ago due to melanoma. It started spreading and she wasn't about to go out one piece at a time. So she toughed it out until the heart ran out of things to do.

So sorry for your loss. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

My 97 year old grandmother passed earlier this year. I dealt with some of it then, but this holiday season has really brought it home for me.

Well, talked with my dad today. Mom is being cremated locally with her ashes being interred 100 miles from here.

Since she enjoyed her bike ride so much we decided that she will ride with me, on the bike, to her final resting place.

My Christmas is complete now.
