Actually anyone with brains knows Jesus was most likely born in late March/early April. Also Christmas was created to get the pagans who were celebrating the winter soltice to convert. So Christmas is BS anyways. Yule logs? Yeah those are actuall from old Norse religion. You know Odin, Thor worship. Hardly Christian. Christmas trees? Origin NOT Christian.

Yup. Its nice that this moment is great for spending time, & giving to loved ones. But to the extent there is a lord, the ludicrous consumerism consummated for his so called birthday is very bizarre.

In particular, those gap ads make me sick.

i don't think most people even associate christmas with religion anymore. its just a tradition.

Just like I don't make sacrifices on Halloween I don't see Christmas as a religious holiday. To me it's a way to celebrate the ending of one year and the begining of another.

I always find december depressing. Between 5pm sunsets, cold weather, my mom dying in this month, & nonstop christmas whoring on TV, i think december sucks balls. Bring me the new year.

Who fucking cares about the origins. People who celebrate Christmas today don't worship pagan gods or stupid made up shit like that. There is also a secular side to it: Santa, Rudolph, etc. It doesn't have to be a religious holiday. I like it. It's cool.
