No you probably arent the only person, there are a ton of sour or antisocial people, even those who get offended by it having a religious undertone. I know some people like that, and they are miserable to be around most of the year anyway, so those sorts of people are just best avoided.
Personally I love the time of year. Have a great time seeing friends and family and relaxing with good company
We don't do the presents crap, or get caught up in the huge shopping thing .. so its all low key and enjoyable.
