So far Ford is the only known death on my list, but Sharon is in a coma and may as well be dead, who knows about Castro, Graham is almost dead, and Hussein will be hanged within 30 days (some say much sooner).

Ford whitewashed the Warren Commission report on the JFK assassination, pardoned Nixon in order to assume the Presidency, appointed Bush Sr, Cheney and Rumsfeld to key posts, and got trounced by Carter.

In the 30 years since leaving office I can't list anything significant that he accomplished besides playing golf. Carter is still active on a number of issues and on various humanitarian projects.

For those of you who missed the first year of Saturday Night Live, which debuted when Ford was President, you missed almost weekly sketches of Chevy Chase lampooning Ford...often by bumping into or tripping over things, as well as speaking to his stuffed dog, Liberty.
