Yes, Lars Mapstead and Andrew Conru, were/are, in my opinion, unscrupulous in some of their business practices. IMHO, they are both master manipulators, without any sense of conscience.
Basically bandits/PT Barnum's of the internet.
Their AFF business was a failure, losing big money at the end, so they climbed in bed and sold out to even shadier people than themselves (as hard as that is to imagine), out of utter selfishness/greed.
It's been over a year since the new ownes announced that they would issue an IPO in order to pay off something like a half-billion in debt, yet to date, no IPO has been issued, and the company has sunk even deeper into debt (all the while, helping to finance people that are undermining many content producers in the business).
