    Regular LCD vs Widescreen LCD

    So I've been procrastinating long enough and I finally want to get an LCD screen. I've been using a 19" CRT for a while.

    There's a great boxing day deal on a Samsung 19" LCD screen, but it's a widescreen. Are there any specific reasons why I wouldn't want a widescreen LCD? I assume it's no different from the widescreen LCD on my laptop?

                      i've just gone from a 19inch crt to a 20inch widescreen lcd, its nice, but it lacks the sharpness, and doesn't show colors aswell
